PEARS AND CHOCOLATE CAKE

Today we are doing a dessert in the Italian Grandma Duck Kitchen: pears and chocolate cake. This cake is really easy to do and it is perfect to have during exams preparation to have an incentive to study better! Hope you will like it!

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 30/45 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 100 gr. of amaretti
  • 100 gr. of flour
  • 60 gr. of sugar
  • 30/40 gr. of dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag of vanilla baking powder 
  • 1 bag of vanillin
  • Salt
  • Milk


Method:
  • Cut the amaretti in small pieces
  • Mix the eggs and sugar with a mixer
  • Add the flour, the vanilla baking powder and a little bit of salt in a bowl together with the amaretti
  • Add some melted butter, dark chocolate and some milk and stir well until you obtain a soft mixture 
  • Peal the pears and cut them
  • Put half of the mixture in a small/medium trail and add the pears on top of it
  • Cover the pears with the other half of the mixture
  • Preheat the oven and then bake the cake at 180 degrees for 30/45 minutes
  • Leave the cake resting and serve it when it is cold
